Schneider Electric - PanelSeT SFN replaces Spacial SF floor-standing enclosures

The new generation of PanelSeT SFN floor-standing enclosures is the successor and updated version of the successful Spacial SF series. In the coming months, the floor-standing enclosures from the Spacial SF series will continue to be available but these will eventually be replaced in their entirety by the updated PanelSeT SFN series.

Switch to PanelSeT SFN floor standing enclosures

Because the accessories and mounting points of the SFN series and SF series floor-standing enclosures have remained the same, the assembly is completely similar, interchangeable and linkable. Integration with Spacial SF is seamless, allowing easy retrofit while maintaining identical dimensions, symmetry, mechanical properties, mounting points and certifications.

Part numbers in the new SFN series can be identified by the addition -N, from NSYSF to NSYSFN. Schneider Electric Universal Enclosures' Sales Specialists and Oosterberg's industry team can assist in the transition from Spacial SF to PanelSeT SFN.

Sustainably manufactured

PanelSeT SFN is future-ready and specially designed with environmental regulations in mind. PanelSeT SFN floor standing enclosures are made from 50% recycled steel and is manufactured using renewable energy sources. As a result, there is a 34% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to the previous SF series. In addition, the product features eco-friendly packaging that consists of 80% recycled cardboard and virtually no plastic.

Robust design

The new patented frame design with bolted structure carries up to 1500 kg while remaining flexible. This is a significant improvement in load capacity over the previous Spacial SF series, where the load capacity was 1000 kg.

Simplified installation

The PanelSeT SFN features an advanced designed system that significantly simplifies the installation process. It also features a semi-closed door hinge, making door removal very easy. The mounting plate is faster and safer to install thanks to the quick-fix bracket, which allows for accelerated implementation. The bolts of the side panels, for example, are secured so you cannot lose them.

High-quality protection

The robust, galvanized, steel enclosures are enriched with an epoxy-polyester powder coating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. PanelSeT SFN meets the highest standards for the protection of electrical components. It features an IP55 protection rating, which provides resistance to water, dirt, dust and non-corrosive materials. In addition, the enclosure boasts a K10 protection rating, making it resistant to mechanical shock.

Flexible and adaptable

The PanelSeT SFN is available in various sizes and combinations. The enclosures are freely configurable and are available as a standard model or kit. Discover a range of enclosures tailored to your needs. The modular design allows up to 600 combinations. In addition, it is possible to provide machining such as hole pattern or customer specific dimensions via customization or co-engineering.

Schneider Electric - ClimaSys: prevent downtime
Downtime is often caused by overheating. With good cabinet climate control, you can prevent this. In addition, proper climate control provides a sustainable solution. It has been shown that components last up to two times longer at the right operating temperature. Prevention of failures Ensuring continuity and increasing productivity are often goals of factories. This comes down to preventing breakdowns that can lead to downtime. Proper climate control within the cabinet is essential here. If components overheat, this can lead to downtime or shortened service life. Downtime is often caused by overheating. You can prevent this with proper temperature management. Stimac - Good technical support for ever-changing specifications
If the description for an automation project is clear from the start, it is easy for the industrial automation specialist to give it substance. In practice, however, specifications often change during the course of a project. This happened to Stimac/SNK when designing the control technology for a horticultural machine. For the problems that arose during the process, itsme quickly provided Stimac/SNK with a solution. “When a customer calls us, we respond immediately. So it’s nice to have a supplier like itsme who can also help immediately.”
