On threaded assemblies, contamination and inactive surfaces can slow the curing of anaerobic adhesives. That's why Loctite has improved the Health and Safety Threadlockers LOCTITE 2400 and 2700. They are faster, safer and more suitable for a wider range of applications.
The new formulation improves cure speed and adhesion to passive or inactive materials such as:
LOCTITE® 2400 is a medium threadlocker formulated to secure and seal bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. It works on all metals and passive substrates.
LOCTITE® 2700 is a high-strength threadlocker for maximum efficacy in the securing and sealing of bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. The product serves to permanently lock assemblies which must not come loose. It works on all metals, including passive substrates.
' Health and Safety 'products have a formulation that aims to reduce or remove the hazardous components or those that may pose a risk to the health and safety of the product users and contribute to the safety in manufacturing, application and handling. end use of the product, because they have no hazard pictograms on their label or no or fewer H and P phrases on the Safety Data Sheet.
The chemical components used in the 'Health and Safety' products are selected in such a way that the products are not classified as dangerous and toxic according to most of the criteria of the REACH and CLP regulations.
