Norgren continues to invest in the development of the comprehensive and industry-leading range of ISO-compliant cylinders to support the industry in their engineering needs. They have developed a new and improved stainless steel ISOLine ™ KA / 802000 cylinder that provides an ideal solution for industrial applications in harsh environments. The KA / 802000 cylinder has been developed based on the proven reliability of the ISO cylinder range and replaces the KA / 8000 version. The new cylinder offers a number of additional functions and operational advantages.
Robust Construction - The new cylinder complies with ISO15552 and is made of high quality stainless steel (SS304 and SS316), making it resistant to corrosive effects that traditional aluminum ISO cylinders cannot withstand.
Improved Design - improvements have been made to the design of the new range, including a new bottom and frond cap with a smoother design that makes cleaning easier, while the molded finish gives the cylinder a sleeker look. The stainless steel piston rod is polished and both the cylinder tube and the tie rods are made of stainless steel for maximum resistance to corrosive environments.
Other modifications include improved low-pressure running properties for smoother piston movement and the addition of a QR code for quick access to product information.
Lower Weight - compared to the previous stainless steel series, the KA / 802000 cylinder has a significantly lower weight. This leads to higher efficiency in mobile applications and lower transport costs.
Adaptive Cushioning System (ACS) - The new stainless steel ISOLine ™ KA / 802000 cylinder features the proven ACS technology. The system automatically gives cushioning for a wide range of conditions, but can still be manually adjusted for more extreme applications.
Users no longer have to worry about it and no specialist knowledge is required for setting or adjusting the final buffering. This gives a significant saving on installation time. ACS also adapts to changing circumstances and can thus extend the life of machines. And manual adjustment is still possible.
Product Choice and Availability - Nine diameters are available from the Norgren stainless steel ISOLine ™ KA / 802000 cylinder range, from 32mm to 200mm. The stainless steel ISOLine ™ KA / 802000 cylinder can be fitted with a number of stainless steel mountings and a number of reed switch options that can be mounted on different sides of the cylinder. An ATEX cat II version is also part of the standard range.
