Leuze plays it safe!
With its long-standing presence in the field of machine safety, Leuze is a proven specialist with its non-contact detection solutions: the MLD300/500 family of access guarding is used in a wide variety of environments. This concerns the protection against deliberate or accidental entry into danger zones such as at robot cells, pallet wrappers, stacking machines or other dangerous workplaces.
Solutions are offered in arrangements with passive mirrors up to 8 meters range ,also with 3 beams!, or in separate transmitter/receiver systems if greater distances are required. The beams can also be deflected around a danger spot with corner mirrors. Built-in laser alignment ensures fast commissioning.
For smaller safety distances and as soon as fingers, hands or wrists have to be detected, the MLC300/500 series safety light curtains for guarding points of operation come into play. Here, up to the highest safety level ,PLe; SIL3; Cat. 4, the operator of the "dangerous" machine can be protected from unpleasant or even fatal injuries. From 14 mm resolution and in a huge variety of lengths, special functions, etc., Leuze has your solution ready.
For safe detection in 2D, Leuze offers its safety laserscanners RSL400 ,also in Profisafe, with various sizes of "emergency stop field", many field pairs and functionality of multiple scanners in one RSL400 housing, or 3 dimesional, the radar detection LBK ,excellent recognition of a person between solid materials. All this, readily available through itsme with Leuze's specialism to help you with your safety issues!
