Rittal - World's most energy-efficient compact cooling unit
In 2016, Rittal introduced the most energy-efficient cooling unit for control cabinets ever: the RittalBlue e+. Now Rittal introduces you to the newest member of the family: the compact Blue e+ S cooling unit with a smaller capacity.
Compact variant
Blue e+ S cooling units are available in three power classes: 300, 500 and 1000 W. A 750 W variant will follow later. Previously, there were cooling units of this size in our range, but they cooled in a traditional way. With the Blue e+ S, we have developed a series that is much more energy-efficient, thanks to speed-controlled cooling and heat pipe technology.
75% energy savings
Chillers with proven Blue e+ technology are the world's most energy-efficient cooling units. This is due to the speed-controlled compressor and fans as well as patented heat pipe technology: a passive way to dissipate heat without additional energy consumption. On average, the Blue e+ S cooling units thus achieve energy savings of 75%. Not insignificant at a time when energy prices continue to rise and CO2 reduction is socially desirable. The investment in the Blue e+ S therefore pays for itself quickly.
Plug & Play
A second difference from traditional cooling units is the fact that the Blue e+ S cooling units are multi-applicable thanks to the unique multi-voltage support. The cooling unit itself recognises the voltage and converts it to the voltage it needs internally. This is a big difference from the traditional variant where you have to choose between a 115 or 230 Volt version. With the Blue e+ S, we bring those options down to one. In addition, the Blue e+ S cooling units have the option of connecting an I.o.T. module. This allows you to create a network of several cooling units and then monitor them remotely. The cabinet temperature, cooling capacity, energy consumption and any warnings can thus be viewed at any time.
Brand new design
Blue e+ S cooling units have a very modern appearance thanks to the vertical louvers (slats). For operation of the system, there is a 'home button' and two 'up & down' buttons. The full-colour touch display of 'big brother' Blue e+ has deliberately not been implemented from a functional point of view. Adjusting settings is also possible via the handy Rittal Scan & Service app available for the Blue e+ S cooling units for both Android and Apple.

Azteq - Warm Cooperation on Solar Thermal EnergyRead moreAzteq aims to revolutionise European green heat technologies on an industrial scale and is developing solar heating systems to do so. The Belgian start-up cooperates in projects with technical service providers, who in turn call upon Breemes for advice and the supply of components. For a major project in Seville, there were challenges regarding the delivery times of the decentralised PLCs and on how they could communicate with each other in the large facility.
