The range of SIMATIC controllers includes Basic, Advanced, Distributed and Software Controller with Safety Integrated. The failsafe SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers are based on the S7-1200 standard CPUs and offer additional safety-related functions. The portfolio includes 3 CPUs with safety functionality, each offering two different variants.
The SIMATIC S7-1500 is its powerful brother. SIMATIC S7-1500 controllers are designed for use in all areas of production automation.
