The itsme Group acquires Schuurman Groothandel in Elektrotechniek
The itsme Group, the parent company of itsme Nederland, will acquire Schuurman Groothandel in Elektrotechniek, subject to approval from the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). With branches in Alkmaar, Drachten, Breda, and Roermond, Schuurman Groothandel in Elektrotechniek has been a reliable partner for professional installers and the manufacturing industry for over a hundred years, serving as a sustainable and people-oriented link between users and producers.
With this acquisition, the Dutch family businesses itsme Nederland and Schuurman are joining forces in the Dutch electrical engineering distribution market. itsme Nederland and Schuurman share the same values and traditions while offering complementary expertise based on a shared vision. Both companies will maintain their strong individual identities and focus on specific market segments, while continuing to prioritize customer-centric service, recognized professional quality, and committed reliability.
