  • Demand from all over Europe is growing fast
  • Production must be scaled up and optimised
  • Limited  time, many demands

Goals

Heliox designs and produces innovative charging systems for electrical city buses. The company has experienced tremendous growth in the past two years. The production of the battery systems must therefore be scaled up and optimised. Heliox wants to meet customer demand, save time and costs and keep room for new innovations. They ask itsme for help.

Actions

After standardisation and adjustment of the Bill Of Materials (BOM), Heliox will reduce the number of suppliers from 75 to 5. itsme manages the stocks and ensures availability of the required materials, thereby ensuring optimised logistic processes.

The itsme services  also apply to installation accessories like:  cables as well as the availability of service items for maintenance. Itsme also introduced  Heliox to cabinet builder VHE Industrial Automation. The cooperation between the three parties is characterized by speed, trust and professionalism.

• Optimise bill of materials: back from 75 to 5 suppliers
• itsme maintains buffer stock of long lead items for Heliox
• Smart price agreements with suppliers
• Collaboration with cabinet builder VHE Industrial Automation

Power quality assessment
Control signals of state-of-the-art devices require precise synchronization. As a result of voltage spikes or frequency deviations in the often outdated distribution networks of companies, disturbances can occur that at first glance have no identifiable cause. Short power interruptions and significant deformations in the usual sinusoid of the supply voltage, for example by switching on or using large loads, such as strong electric motors, is a common cause.
